10/02- Chambers finishes 3rd in FFW season championship race.
Chambers Racing and Victory Engines muscled through another Fun Ford Weekend season and captured third place in the national championship points series. En route to the strong finish, Chambers gathered two national event wins at Gainesville FL and Cordova IL, a runner-up in Richmond VA, and semi-final appearances at Bristol TN and Ennis TX. The Victory powered 1990 Mustang GT qualified #1 at six of seven national events and set the Street Warrior class MPH record an astonishing five times and the ET record twice.
7/02- Victory adds the Ford Modular Motor to its resume.
With the increasing popularity of Ford's 4.6l and 5.4l modular motor program, Victory Engines has added the mod motor to our extensive knowledge base. Here at Victory, we have invested significant time and effort with the modular motors to insure that we can provide the Victory potential to these high-revving, small displacement motors. Be sure to check with Victory for all your mod motor needs.
4/02- Chambers' Victory Powered Mustang Sets National Record!
Jeff Chambers' 1990 Mustang GT set a national MPH record for the Street Warrior class using a Victory power plant. His 306ci, normally aspirated car set the new mark at 120.33 MPH, eclipsing the old record by more than 1.3 MPH. Victory powered him to the record on the way to an all-time best of 11.34@120.33 and a #1 qualifying position at the Commerce GA FFW event.

2/02- Victory adds Ford EFI capabilities to their engine dyno program.
Victory now has the ability to dyno Ford EFI engines on their engine dynamometer. The addition of a dedicated A9L EEC-IV processor and engine harness greatly expands our capability to meet our customers needs in the hugely popular realm of high performance Ford EFI engines. Now you've got no reason to let anyone other than Victory pump up the volume in your Mustang.
6/01- Jeff Banyas opens his rookie season in the Buckeye 360 Sprints
Victory Engines has entered the Buckeye 360 Sprint series with Ray's son, Jeff, at the wheel. Sixteen-year-old Jeff has moved up from the quarter midget ranks where he developed his racing skills while driving circles around his competition. Look for Jeff and the rest of the Victory team at the local sprint tracks.
5/01- Chambers finishes runner-up in Houston, TX...and more
Jeff Chambers drove the Chambers Racing Team car to semi-final action at Fun Ford Weekend's Atlanta GA event in April and then followed up at the next event with a final round appearance down in Houston, TX. A set of Victory prepped GT-40P heads is providing Jeff with the power needed to be one of the front-runners in Trophy Stock competition. Jeff topped off the Houston trip with an all-time best of 11.61 seconds at 116.7 miles-per-hour during the event.
3/01- Shook Wins the First TWO SCCA A-Sedan Events of 2001
Martin Shook drove the wheels off his 1995 Mustang Cobra en route to the winner's circle at the first two national SCCA events of 2001. Martin's American Sedan (A-Sedan) racer finished at the head of the pack at both Sebring and Moroso Motorsports Park to open up the 2001 season. The wins put Martin atop the SCCA Central Division AS standings and make a bold statement to his A-Sedan competitors. Keep an eye out for Martin as he makes a season long charge for that coveted national championship. If the first two races are any indication of the season to come, the rest of the A-Sedan guys have got their work cut out for them. Martin uses a Victory prepped 306 small-block Ford.
3/01- Chambers goes 11.86 at the FFW Season Opener
Victory made another show of force in the FFW series when Jeff Chambers motored his '90 Mustang GT to a new personal best of 11.86@113.8 in Trophy Stock competition at Fun Ford Weekend's season opener in Bradenton, Florida. Chambers' naturally aspirated small-block Ford (306 ci) is teamed with a Lentech AOD for the 2001 season. The 11.86 pass represents a two-tenths improvement over his 2000 performance. With the car weighing in at nearly 3100# and running on an 8.5" slick, these times are amazing for 'stock' class competition. With a little more testing and tuning with the new AOD combination, Chambers looks to have his Pony running even better as the FFW season progresses. Victory power makes it all possible.
10/00 - Wild Bill Klein goes 9.18@149 in his Victory powered Mustang
Wild Bill took his '85 Mustang to a new level at Norwalk Raceway Park when he pedaled it to a 9.18 ET at more than 149MPH! Bill sprayed his 347 stroker motor down with more nitrous than you'd find at a local dental convention on his way to a personal best in the steed. Bill made several final round appearances in the NRP Outlaw Street class this season in his street driven ride. What's even more amazing is that Bill foot-brakes his C4 and stock-suspensioned combination enroute to these awesome passes. Its not uncommon to see Bill unbolting his slicks for the drive back home after a night of 'spraying the house down' at NRP. Look for Bill and his orange '86 hatchback at more of NRP's outlaw programs in 2001. Just one more example of that Victory power and reliability.
10/03- Victory Engines and Chambers Racing go into the record books with yet another national record!
For the second season in a row, Chambers Racing goes into the Fun Ford Weekend Series with the Street Warrior class records. The Chambers' set the new records at June's Richmond Virginia event at 10.695 at 127.67 MPH. Victory power get the CRT team down the track!
12/03- Victory Engines is always working to add new capabilities to give its customers the winning advantage
Victory now has the ability to bore small block Ford engine blocks for the popular roller cam conversions. This process of boring and honing the cam journals and installing needle roller bearings results in a near-frictionless cam installation that minimizes parasitic and windage losses on the cam. Call Victory for more information on this new capability.
1/04- Banyas takes multiple awards at Mercer Raceway Banquet
Jeff Banyas and his Victory sprint car took home more than a few awards from the 2003 Mercer Raceway Park banquet. Jeff finished 3rd in the season points in the 360 Sprint class and finished 6th overall in the 410 Sprint class. Jeff had more 360 "first-in class" crossings than any other 360 driver. Jeff also had three 410 class heat wins in 2004 and took home a 2nd place finish from Wayne County Speedway's $5000-To-Win event. Look out 'cause this kid gets better every year.
